Taste & Travel Table Booking with Singapore Airlines terms and conditions
- By entering the Taste & Travel Table Booking with Singapore Airlines competition (competition), you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to be bound by them. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions.
- This competition is being run by Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) Pty Ltd ABN 62 076 999 114 of APAM Management Office, Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport, Tullamarine, Victoria 3043 (Promoter), in partnership with Singapore Airlines Limited (Singapore Airlines) and Queen Victoria Market Pty Ltd (QVM) (collectively, the Partners).

WHO CAN ENTER?
· To be eligible to enter the competition you must:
· reside in Victoria; and
· must be over the age of 18 at the time of entry
· be a KrisFlyer member at the time of entry
- Employees, directors or officers of the Promoter or the Partners, any companies or agencies associated with this competition, or their immediate families, are ineligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
- The competition period commences at 11am AEDT on Wednesday 20 November 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on Wednesday 12 March 2025 (competition period), and the Promoter reserves the right to extend the competition end date at any time (subject to regulatory approval).
- To enter the competition, you must visit the following page and submit your information https://promo.melbourneairport.com.au/winsingaporeairlines during the competition period.
- No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete or incoherent entries will be invalid.
- A limit of one entry to the competition per person applies.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, employer, residency status/location and transaction value) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. In the event a winning entrant cannot provide proof of eligibility to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
PRIZE
- The prize/s is 2 return economy tickets with Singapore Airlines valid on any of the Singapore Airlines network and valued at $9,140 as at the publishing date of these terms and conditions. The total prize value is $9,140.
- The prize consists of:
- Two (2) economy class return tickets on Singapore Airlines network from Melbourne, Australia for two (2) adults (Prize)
- Please note that the below are not included in the prize.
- Travel Insurance is not included in the Prize and we strongly recommend it is taken by the winner before travel.
- Travel is subject to seat availability for the required booking subclass W at the time of booking, and any applicable travel embargoes. During peak travel times in Australia such as Christmas, the Australian school holidays, and other blackout periods (which Singapore Airlines may notify you from time to time), travel may not be possible as seats may not be available, and you may have to select alternative dates and/or flights.
- All travel must be booked within 12 months from the date the winner is notified that they have won the prize. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist in transit or at any destination.
- Travel must be completed by 31 March 2026.
- If for any reason the winner does not travel (or redeem any part of the Prize) after making a booking, then the prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited.
- The Prize does not include any costs associated with redeeming the Prize such as meals, accommodation, spending money or taxes.
- The Prize will not be transferable to another person.
- No part of the Prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other Prize.
- If the Prize is not available for any reason, the Promoter and Singapore Airlines reserve the right to substitute the Prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winner agrees in writing and subject to any approvals from regulatory authorities. If the winner does not agree despite reasonable attempts by the Promoter to reach an agreement and the Prize is not available due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter and Singapore Airlines may substitute the Prize with another item or items determined by the Promoter to be of equal or higher value.
- Travel is only permitted on Singapore Airlines operated services within the Singapore Airlines network.
- The Prize is only valid for a maximum stay of three (3) months, and any unused portion of the Prize after the expiry date shall be deemed null and void.
- Travellers will be responsible for all airline and airport taxes/surcharges, travel costs to and from the point of departure, spending money, travel insurance, freight, excess baggage, meals, ground transportation, accommodation, and any other expenses. Each traveller will be required to hold all valid travel documentation to complete their travel as booked.
- Travellers are required to make payment for the government and airport taxes/surcharges before the Prize tickets can be issued. A credit card service fee of 1.35% will apply for such transactions.
- No changes are allowed once the Prize tickets have been issued.
- The Prize is not eligible for an upgrade to a higher class through the redemption of KrisFlyer miles and/or Singapore Airlines partner frequent flyer program miles, and/or payment using credit or debit cards.
- The Prize is not eligible for the accrual of KrisFlyer miles and/or Singapore Airlines partner frequent flyer program miles.
- The Prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash in part or in full, and may not be sold to any third party.
- Travellers must travel together on all sectors on Singapore Airlines.
- An airport no-show will result in the Prize being forfeited.
- The Prize must be booked through the Singapore Airlines office at least thirty (30) days prior to the desired departure date.
- Travellers must also complete the Travel Preparation Paperwork and any other documents that Singapore Airlines may require from time to time and send this to the Singapore Airlines office during the booking process before the Prize tickets can be issued.
- It is recommended to make your flight reservations as soon as possible as flights are strictly subject to availability and confirmation. Your preferred dates/flights may not be available, and you will need to be flexible with travel dates/flights.
- Any collection, use and disclosure of the winner’s personal data will be strictly in accordance with Singapore Airlines’s Privacy Policy which is deemed incorporated into these terms and conditions. Acceptance of the Tickets will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions and non-compliance may result in the winner being disqualified, and any Prize may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn, or reclaimed.
- The winner agrees that all personal data he/she submits (including his/her name, contact number, passport number and email address) may be collected, used disclosed, or otherwise processed (collectively, “Processed”) by Singapore Airlines for the purposes of issuing the Prize as well as to communicate with the winner on the redemption of the Prize.
SELECTION OF WINNER
- The winner will be chosen by random draw which will take place at 1pm AEDT on Thursday 13 March 2025 at Melbourne Airport corporate Office, Terminal 3, Tullamarine, 3043.
- The first valid entry drawn will win the Prize as described below.
- The winner will be personally notified and the name of the winner will be published on https://promo.melbourneairport.com.au/winsingaporeairlines
- The results of the draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw. This is a game of chance.
- The Promoter must distribute the Prize to the winner within 28 days of the draw.
SECOND CHANCE DRAW
- If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified that they have won the competition, that winner is not readily identified and reasonable efforts have been made by the Promoter to identify the winner were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit the Prize and the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner through a second chance draw.
- If necessary, a second chance draw will be held on Thursday 20 March at the same time and place as the first draw. The first valid entry drawn will win any unclaimed Prize.
- The winner will be personally notified and the name of the winner will be published on https://promo.melbourneairport.com.au/winsingaporeairlines
- The results of any second chance draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
- The Promoter must distribute the Prize to the winner within 28 days of the draw.
PROMOTION AND MARKETING
- By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material, all editorial activities relating to the promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed, filmed for broadcast and photographed, as the Promoter may require without remuneration. The winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use any such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner (and their companion) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
- Each winner also consents to the use and publication of their name, image and any other details provided by the winner in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winner.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for any materials they submit via the competition including but not limited to comments, recording and images (Content). The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law. The Promoter may remove or decline to publish any Content without notice for any reason whatsoever. Entrants warrant and agree that:
(a) they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent;
(b) their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity;
(c) they will obtain prior consent from any person or from the owner(s) of any property that appears in their Content;
(d) the Content is the original artistic and/or literary work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party; and
(e) they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others’ computer or communication systems.
- As a condition of entering this competition, entrants hereby assign to the Promoter, all right, title and interest in and to all intellectual property rights (including copyright but excluding moral rights) in any material created pursuant to the entrant’s participation in any aspect of the Promotion (Works). Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter is free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the entrant will not be entitled to any fee for such use. Such use may include social media channels or publications. Entrants agree they may not be attributed as the author of the Works and that the Promoter may undertake any act or omission in relation to the Works.
- The Promoter may wish for a competition winner to participate in promotional activity after the competition has ended. In consideration for the Promoter awarding the Prize to a winner, the winner permit the winner’s image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the Prize to appear in any media whatsoever throughout the world for an unlimited period and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
STANDARD TERMS
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval, and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable.
- In the case of an intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism and pandemics, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions at a time suitable to the Promoter, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
- Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports limit, exclude or modify the Promoter's liability in relation to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (Schedule 2 of the Consumer and Competition Act 2010 (Cth)) (Non-Excludable Guarantees Liability).
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees Liability, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition including:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
(e) any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or
(f) use of the prize.
- To the extent permitted by law including the ACL, if the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, subject to regulatory approval.
- Please read the Promoter's privacy policy available on the Promoter website at https://www.melbourneairport.com.au/privacy-policy which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition.
- The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, collect personal information through the competition and use and disclose the information to conduct the promotion and for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages to the entrant and any other purpose set out in the Promoter's privacy policy. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. Personal information collected through the competition includes first name, last name, contact phone number, email address, postcode and date of birth. The Promoter may disclose personal information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties or regulatory bodies, including but not limited to agents, contractors and service providers for the purposes set out in this clause.
- The Promoter may also disclose entrants’ personal information collected by the Promoter through the competition to the Partners in connection with the competition and for the Partners’ promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages to the entrant and any other purpose set out in the Partners’ privacy policy. Please read the Partners’ privacy policy available on the Partners’ website at https://qvm.com.au/policies/privacy-policy and https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/au/global_footer/privacy-policy/ which tells you how the Partners may use any personal information disclosed to them. If an Entrant wishes to withdraw their consent for the use and disclosure of their Personal Information by the Partners for the purposes outlined in this clause, they may do so by contacting the Partners in the ways set out in the Partners’ privacy policy.
- The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.
- The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter reasonably believes has breached any of these terms and conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this competition. Any entrant disqualified under this clause is prohibited from any further participation in the competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Victoria
