By entering the Garuda Indonesia at Nongkrong Festival Giveaway competition (competition), you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to be bound by them. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions.
This competition is being run by Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) Pty Ltd ABN 62 076 999 114 of APAM Management Office, Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport, Tullamarine, Victoria 3043 (Promoter), in partnership with Garuda Indonesia Airways (the Partner).

WHO CAN ENTER?
To be eligible to enter the competition you must:
- reside in Victoria; and
- must be over the age of 18 at the time of entry.
Employees, directors or officers of the Promoter or the Partner, any companies or agencies associated with this competition, or their immediate families, are ineligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
The competition period commences at 8:00am AEDT on Sunday 23 February 2025 and ends at 05:00pm AEDT on Sunday 23 February 2025 (competition period), and the Promoter reserves the right to extend the competition end date at any time (subject to regulatory approval).

No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete or incoherent entries will be invalid.
A limit of one entry to the competition per person applies.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, employer, residency status/location and transaction value) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. In the event a winning entrant cannot provide proof of eligibility to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
PRIZE
The prizes are set out below as at the publishing date of these terms and conditions.
The prizes consist of:
- 1 x $500 flight voucher on Garuda Indonesia network from Melbourne + 1 x 2 Garuda Indonesia Amenity Kits + 1 Garuda Indonesia aeroplane model (Prize 1)
- 1 x $500 flight voucher on Garuda Indonesia network from Melbourne + 1 x 2 Garuda Indonesia Amenity Kits + 1 Garuda Indonesia aeroplane model (Prize 2)
- 1 x $200 Lotte Duty Free voucher valid at Lotte Duty Free Melbourne Airport + 1 x 2 Garuda Indonesia Amenity Kits (Prize 3)
- 1 x $250 Melbourne Airport Parking voucher + 1 x 2 Garuda Indonesia Amenity Kits (Prize 4)

Please note that travel insurance is not included in the prizes and we strongly recommend it is taken by the winner before travel.
Garuda Indonesia Travel Voucher Terms and Conditions
- The flight voucher can be redeemed for a ticket or any ancillary products, such as prepaid excess baggage or prepaid seating.
- The voucher must be redeemed by 30 December 2025 on Garuda Indonesia website
- The voucher can be used only for flights starting from Melbourne
- The voucher can be used for transactions with a total amount equal to or greater than the voucher value. If the transaction is less than the voucher value, any remaining balance will be forfeited.
- Each voucher is valid for one type of transaction only.
- The voucher cannot be redeemed for cash. Once used, it cannot be returned or refunded.
- The voucher is non-transferable and cannot be used for travel on any airline other than Garuda Indonesia.
- The voucher and its associated prize will be forfeited if any of these terms are breached, or if the prize is used unlawfully.
- If for any reason the winner does not travel (or redeem any part of the prize) after making a booking, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
Lotte Duty Free voucher terms and conditions
- This voucher is valid only at Lotte Duty Free Melbourne Airport store.
- The voucher cannot be used on any purchase of Tobacco. The voucher is valid for a term of three years from 18 February 2025 to 17 February 2028.
- The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be used in a single transaction. The balance will not be refunded. The voucher will be collected by the store once redeemed.
- Please contact a store team member or store manager if any issues are encountered during redemption.
Melbourne Airport Parking voucher terms and conditions
- Parking must be pre-booked online at https://www.melbourneairport.com.au/
- Melbourne Airport Terms and Conditions and Online Booking Terms and Conditions apply.
- Voucher is valid for bookings made by 23:59 on 30/06/2026 and for travel between 01/08/2024 – 30/06/2026.
- Subject to car park availability.
- Voucher must be redeemed in a single transaction; no credit will be provided for any unused amount.
The prizes do not include any costs associated with redeeming the prizes such as meals, accommodation, spending money or taxes.
The prizes will not be transferable to another person.
No part of the prizes are exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prizes.
If a prize is not available for any reason, the Promoter and the Partner reserve the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winner agrees in writing and subject to any approvals from regulatory authorities. If the winner does not agree despite reasonable attempts by the Promoter to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter and the Partner may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by the Promoter to be of equal or higher value.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
A total of five (5) winners will be chosen by random draw which will take place at 05:00pm AEDT on Sunday 23 February 2025 at Federation Square, Nongkrong Festival, 3000.
The first valid entry drawn for each prize will win the corresponding prize as described below.
The winners will be personally notified and the name of the winners will be published on https://promo.melbourneairport.com.au/garudanongkrong/ . Additionally, the name of each winner will be announced on stage at Federation Square’s Nongkrong Festival throughout the day
The results of the draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw. This is a game of chance.
The Promoter must distribute the prize to the winner within 28 days of the draw.
SECOND CHANCE DRAW
If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified that they have won the competition, that winner is not readily identified and reasonable efforts have been made by the Promoter to identify the winner were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner through a second chance draw.
If necessary, a second chance draw will be held on Monday 3 March 2025 at 1:00pm AEDT at Melbourne Airport Office, Tullamarine, 3043. The first valid entry drawn will win any unclaimed Prize.

The results of any second chance draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
The Promoter must distribute the prize to the winner within 28 days of the draw.
PROMOTION AND MARKETING
By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material, all editorial activities relating to the promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed, filmed for broadcast and photographed, as the Promoter may require without remuneration. The winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use any such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners (and their companion) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
Each winner also consents to the use and publication of their name, image and any other details provided by the winner in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winner.
STANDARD TERMS
The Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval, and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable.
In the case of an intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism and pandemics, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions at a time suitable to the Promoter, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports limit, exclude or modify the Promoter's liability in relation to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (Schedule 2 of the Consumer and Competition Act 2010 (Cth)) (Non-Excludable Guarantees Liability).
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees Liability, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition including:
- any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
- any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
- any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
- any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
- any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or
- use of the prize.
To the extent permitted by law including the ACL, if the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, subject to regulatory approval.

The Promoter may disclose personal information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties or regulatory bodies, including but not limited to agents, contractors and service providers for the purposes set out in this clause.
The Promoter may also disclose entrants’ personal information collected by the Promoter through the competition to the Partner in connection with the competition and for the Partner’s promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages to the entrant and any other purpose set out in the Partner’s privacy policy. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter reasonably believes has breached any of these terms and conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this competition. Any entrant disqualified under this clause is prohibited from any further participation in the competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Victoria.

PRIZE
- The prize is a Japan Getaway valued at $13,200 as at the publishing date of these terms and conditions.
- The prize consists of:
- return economy tickets to Tokyo, with Japan Airlines for two adults;
- 4 nights accommodation and all-inclusive package in a Superior Room for 2 adults at any of the following Club Med locations in Japan:
- Kiroro Grand;
- Tomamu;
- Sahoro; or
- Kabira
For the avoidance of doubt, the option to stay at Club Med Kiror Peak is not included in this prize.
- a $250 Lotte Duty Free shopping voucher to be redeemed at Lotte Melbourne Airport Duty Free
- Travel Insurance is not included in the prize and we strongly recommend it is taken by the winner before travel.
- Availability of the flight component of this prize cannot be guaranteed during peak periods including but not limited to the Christmas period, school holidays or special event periods. The following embargo periods apply, during which seats will not be available:

- The 4 nights accommodation all-inclusive package must be redeemed at the following Club Med locations in Japan (Kiroro Grand, Tomamu, Sahoro, or Kabira) during either winter or summer season subject to availability at the resort, and is valid for travel until 30 June 2026. Accommodation bookings at Club Med can only be confirmed within 60 days of departure from Melbourne, are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
